Stephen G. Henderson

Stephen grew up in Cocoa Beach and has lived in Japan, California, and Washington. A world traveler, he speaks fluent Japanese and uses his cross-cultural communication skills as he litigates and negotiates for his clients. Stephen earned degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Seattle University School of Law, where he graduated with Honors. He is admitted to the Florida Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association, Brevard County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
Stephen is also admitted to the Federal Court for the Middle District in Orlando, Florida. He lives in Brevard County with his wife and their combined family of 5 children.
He holds the distinction of being the only attorney in Brevard County to have a murder case dismissed on a Stand your Ground motion.
Maria Vaeth Henderson
Maria Vaeth Henderson is an experienced trial attorney specializing in criminal defense and family law. She graduated from Barry University School of Law in 2006. As a law student, Maria interned at the Brevard County Public Defender’s Office where she excelled and was offered a job immediately upon graduation.
Within 5 years, Maria conducted over 50 criminal jury trials, some including capital murder defense. She left public defense to join Steve Henderson at the Henderson Legal Group in 2011. You may have seen Maria on the A&E Biography television channel where she was featured for a documentary on a murder case she defended.
Together, Maria and Steve enjoy life together in Viera with their combined family of 5 children.
