Maria Vaeth Henderson
Maria Vaeth Henderson is an experienced trial attorney practicing exclusively in family law. She graduated from Barry University School of Law in 2006. She provides her clients with personal attention, caring and aggressive representation, and gives clients her personal cell phone for communication. Maria cares about her clients and their families and works to preserve their rights. Maria handles all aspects of family law cases including paternity, divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, contempt issues, relocation, petitions to modify, and prenuptial agreements.
As a law student, Maria interned at the Brevard County Public Defender’s Office where she excelled and was offered a job immediately upon graduation. Within 5 years, Maria conducted over 50 criminal jury trials, some including capital murder defense. She left public defense to join Steve Henderson at the Henderson Legal Group in 2011. You may have seen Maria on the A&E Biography television channel where she was featured for a documentary on a murder case she defended.
Once in private practice, Maria focused her attention on family and matrimonial law. Maria has represented hundreds of families going through a divorce. Maria regularly appears in court litigating contested family law issues. Maria also spends a great deal of time mediating and negotiating cases to ensure her clients obtain the best results.
Together, Maria and Steve enjoy life together in Viera with their combined family of 5 children.
